Taissa Farmiga lands roles in “James Boy” and “Bling Ring”

According to Variety, Taissa has landed two roles in James Boy and Bling Ring!
In “Bling Ring,” Farmiga joins Emma Watson — whose casting Variety first reported Wednesday — as a teen involved in the true celebrity burglary ring story that Coppola is helming and writing.
“James Boy” also stars Spencer Lofranco and will be written and helmed by Trevor White. The story involves a young man who goes from suburban street gang to a maximum-security prison, where he’s mentored by a convicted murderer. Farmiga plays the main character’s love interest.
Plan is for Farmiga to shoot “James Boy” first and follow it up with “Bling Ring.”

It wouldn’t have taken Taissa Farmiga very long to be creeped out by the haunted house her character inhabits in American Horror Story.
“I wouldn’t even have lasted five minutes,” said Farmiga, 17. “People died in the basement? OK, not my house.”
In fact, it was Farmiga’s character who was most in favour of the Harmon family moving in, even after hearing of its history as a “murder house.” So it’s kind of all her fault.
“I know, right?” Farmiga said. “I don’t know what Violet was thinking, or wasn’t thinking. I think she’s insane.”
What hasn’t been insane is the reaction — mostly positive, always visceral — American Horror Story has elicited in its first season. The season finale airs Wednesday, Jan. 18 on FX Canada.
The first season wrapped up in the United States on FX just before Christmas, and if you’re been watching on FX Canada, it probably has been difficult to avoid spoilers online or in the news, since the series has been the focus of much buzz and debate.
